Liberal Democrat MP Simon Hughes has reportedly secured majority support for the deputy leadership of his party. The bisexual MP's campaign team say he is backed by 29 of the party's 57 MPs to succeed former deputy leader Vince Cable.

WVC approves legal protections for LGBT people

The folks at the nation's top fast food joint, McDonald's, are hoping members of the gay community — and the assorted alphabet soup of identities — will drop a dime on them, by creating an ad with a gay male character.
